Alan Dean Foster has kindly offered 10 books of his new novel "The Human Blend" as the subject matter is full of speculation on the future (legal and illegal) of human body modification for specific cultural and physical ends. 5 of these books will be given to the 5 best papers of the conference and 5 will be given to 5 lucky attendees drawn at random during the conference.

The Proceedings of AH'12 will be once again published in the ACM International Conference Proceedings Series with ISBN 978-1-4503-1077-2!
On March 8th to 9th 2012, the Augmented Human international conference is back in the French Alps after AH'11 that happened in Tokyo ! As the conference venue is an upper-class ski resort with many art fans, a special Augmented Human and Art (AHA) exhibition session open to the public should be organised on March 10th and 11th, stay tuned ;-)
WE ARE SORRY TO ANNOUNCE THAT DUE TO THE EARTHQUAKE AND TSUNAMI IN JAPAN, THE DEMO/POSTER DAY IN MIRAIKAN ON MARCH 12TH CANNOT BE DONE BECAUSE IT IS STILL DANGEROUS TO ENTER THE MIRAIKAN. WE WILL POST WHERE THE PRESENTATION DAYS CAN BE DONE SOON ON THIS WEBSITE.
